About the AGM
The AGM is an important meeting for all members. It provides an opportunity for you to ask questions about the work of the union, you can help to set policy and agree priorities for the year ahead, and you will be updated on branch finances. The AGM also provides an opportunity for you to elect officials to lead the branch and represent your interests.
We are holding two meetings this year - Monday 2nd March 2026 at 12.30pm at Longreach House, Redruth and Thursday 5th March 2026 at 12.30pm at Carew House, Bodmin Hospital (you can join either meeting online via Teams if requested).

How to register/attend
To register for our AGM, please enter your Invitation code below and click register, if you haven't received a code please contact us as soon as possible.
You will then be asked to enter your contact details to register for the event. We will send you reminders in the run up to the event via Email & SMS, and you will receive the Joining link ahead of the meeting if appropriate.
Electing your Branch Officials and Workplace Reps
One of the most important functions of the AGM is to elect officials to lead the branch for the year ahead. A whole range of different jobs are available in the branch each one of carries a really important set of responsibilities. Whether you’re face to face with managers in negotiations, representing members in a disciplinary, or helping members with a welfare claim, all are necessary to create an effective union team.
You can nominate yourself or other members for any of the following roles

The nomination window has closed, it was open from 8th December 2025 - 5th January 2026.
Motions and Rule Changes
If you would like to submit a motion for consideration or a change in the rules of the Branch please do so by Monday 9th February 2026 and submit to office@unison-chc.co.uk
